My passion is to help people and horses. I have been writing "How to Run Patterns" for many years. My goal is to give different perspectives on the patterns, so you have options that are best for you and your horse. I want to help shooters have confidence in how they will run each pattern. I am so excited to announce my newest adventure.
This book is dedicated to every competitor who has stood at that bulletin board with the courses posted and wondered “how am I supposed to shoot this?” I hope to give you guidance and confidence to enjoy and excel at the sport of Cowboy Mounted Shooting.
Over the years I’ve been asked when I was going to write a Mounted Shooting course book. There was no need to, Sam Helms had already written the definitive course guide book, “The Hired Hand Book”.
Sam dedicated his life to the sport of mounted shooting. I am proud have known him and called him a fellow competitor and friend.
So just like his many friends, students and family, I am picking up the reins and riding on in a way I hope will honor his legacy.

Shipping is included in the $45 book price online. But I will need your Mailing address to complete the orders please email rodeoe@msn.com with your address in which the books are to be shipped.
Shipping book to Canada will cost an additional $20 per book. Elizabeth will be in touch to collect the shipping fee on these purchases.
